Work on a turret, minaret, or even shikahara is much the same as on domes. Many of the issues often involve leaks at seams. Turrets, minarets and shikhara in america are almost all constructed of panels bolted together. The packing material used in between hardens and leaks over time. It is common for us to repair turrets that are only 20 years old. We are experienced in creating long term expandable joints that last decades. 
The exterior of turrets are often painted. Access for common painters is a challenge. We utilize systems of ropes to safely prepare the surface, then add a long term paint solution.
